昼に論文の最終稿を投稿しておいたら夕方に次のメールを受け取った．
When trying to compile your paper with latex, I received the following message: This is BibTeX, Version 0.99c (TeX Live 2009/Debian) The top-level auxiliary file: submit.aux I found no \bibdata command---while reading file submit.aux I found no \bibstyle command---while reading file submit.aux (There were 2 error messages) Please remove these errors and resubmit again.
……とどのつまり，面倒回避のために bbl を埋め込んだ TeX ソースを送っておいたのだけど向こうの人は bibtex を動かすのでエラー吐かれましたよと．エラーを直せではなく bbl 埋めこまないでねと書いてくれれば分かりやすいと思うのだけど．
投稿システムはちゃんとbibtex抜きでコンパイルしてくれた．
